国际多式联运，是以集装箱为媒介，将海上运输、铁路运输、公路运输、航空运输等四种运输方式中的两种或两种以上方式加以组合而形成的连贯的、门到门的货物运愉。按照这种运输方式，承、托双方只需办理一次托运，一票到底，由承运人负全程责任。国际多式联运一改海、铁、公、空等单一运输方式不连贯的传统做法。
《联合国国际多式联运公约》和我国交通部、铁道部共同颁布的《国际集装箱多式联运管理规则》给国际多式联运下的定义为:国际多式联运是按照多式联运合同。以至少两种不同的运输方式，由多式联运经营人将货物从一国境内接管货物的地点运至另一国境内指定交付货物的地点。Besides our own offices, our network covers all main countries and locations that are regularly used for dry docking.
